ESTA M. MATTHEWS Esta Mae Matthews , 82, Warrensburg , Mo., died June 5, 1994, in a nursing home in Warrensburg . Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Chapel, Warrensburg ; burial in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Oak Grove in Jackson County. Friends may call from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the chapel. The family suggests contributions to the First United Methodist Church of Warrensburg . Mrs. Matthews was born in Lafayette County, Mo., and lived in Warrensburg most of he r life. She was a receptionist at Johnson County Memorial Hospital in Warrensburg before she retired in 1970. She was a member of the church. Her husband, Frank Matthews , died in 1970. Survivors include two sons, Carl Matthews , Centerview, Mo., and Archie Ray Matthews , Warrensburg ; three brothers, Lee McFerrin, Odessa, Mo., Ralph McFerrin, Higginsville, Mo., and Paul McFerrin, Warrensburg ; four sisters, Viola Barnett, Mildred Fisher, Virginia Ramsey and Alice Hanrahan of Warrensburg ; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
