Obituaries Roy Molinda Murphy

Roy Molinda Murphy passed away at the Maries Manor Nursing Home in Vienna, Missouri, on December 17, 2003. She was 95 years of age.

Roy Molinda was the daughter of the late Roy and Lula (Breeden) Copeland was born on November 7, 1908.

Roy Molinda was united in marriage to Clay Murphy at Linn, Missouri, on January 1, 1931 and to this union two children were born.

Roy Molinda is survived by one son, Billy Lloyd Murphy and wife Jane, of Vienna, Missouri, and one daughter, Mary Ellen Schwartze and husband Gene, of Vienna, Missouri; one half-sister, Maye Duncan, of Vienna, six grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death are her parents, Roy and Lula (Breeden) Copeland; step-father, Frank Noblett; husband, Clay Murphy; brother, Lawrence Copeland; half-brother, Johnny Noblett, and half sister, Eulalia Duncan.

Visitation for Roy Molinda will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, December 18, 2003 at the United Methodist Church in Vienna.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, December 19, 2003 at the United Methodist Church in Vienna with Pastor Karen Alden officiating. Pallbearers will be Aaron Castillo, John Schulte, Jess Strickland, Coad Strickland, Justin Long, and Jason Long. Songs will be "Old Rugged Cross" and "Amazing Grace" with the vocalist Terry Snodgrass and Beth Clinkenbeard at the organ. Burial will be in the family plot in Vienna Cemetery.

All arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Missouri.
